Cryptology is the science of mathematical methods of information protection. It combines the most modern achievements of mathematics and computer science, which are transformed into concrete means of protection. Specialists in applied cryptology develop, analyze and implement mathematical information protection systems. Only a specialist who combines theoretical knowledge of mathematics and informatics with practical experience in modeling and programming can successfully solve such problems. We train such specialists.

Students of this specialization receive:

deep knowledge in mathematics, computer science, information technology, programming
knowledge of the principles of cryptographic information protection systems, authentication, digital signature, cryptographic protocols, etc
the ability to develop mathematical models of information processes, to solve practical problems of creating reliable information protection systems, to implement cryptographic means in banking, commercial and other industries, as well as to simply effectively program and analyze arbitrary data
